Coverage Map

See which networks reach your address

Check your home, office, camp, or travel destination against the official FCC broadband map. It shows which nationwide networks are available so you can pick the plan that works where you are.

Check your address

Enter your street address, city, and state. We’ll check the FCC broadband map for you and show which Backroads WiFi networks are available there.

Heads up: this checks which networks are available, not the speeds you can expect. We cover real-world speed testing further down the page. You can always verify on the official FCC map.

Test your real-world speed

The most accurate way to test your actual speed is to use a phone already on one of the major networks. Open www.fast.com in the phone's browser to see a real-world speed you can expect.

Please note that our devices typically produce higher speeds than your phone does, so treat the phone test as a conservative baseline.

It's important to know your networks

Knowing which networks will work in your location is the whole game. So far, the map above has proven to be very reliable and accurate for the coverage available during the local tests we've performed.
